Hill Top is the real deal! For donut lovers, this is a must try bakery. The donuts are so fresh, soft and fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. I travel frequently and I'm always looking for the best bakeries while in that location. Hill Top is among the best I've had anywhere.

Hill Top has become my family's go to bakery - from donuts on Saturday morning to gender reveal treats to custom birthday cakes. The service is always great, the prices are always reasonable, and most importantly the treats are always delicious!

Hill Top Bakery is the BEST bakery in NE WI, dare I say best in the entire STATE! My husband was born in Kaukauna, but I wasn't familiar with the city. Well, the first time he introduced me to Hill Top Bakery, I was smitten. The delicate, sweet, doughy aroma hits your senses like a million delicate butterflies tickling your senses, making you weak in the knees! For our wedding 10 years ago, we got the cupcakes from Hill Top and let me tell you, those were the BEST cupcakes we have ever eaten. Other cupcakes may look extravagant, but completely lack the flavor. Hill Top's not only LOOKED beautiful, they tasted even BETTER! I seriously have never had a better cupcake BEFORE or SINCE then. My husband can attest to that. Hill Top never disappoints. You can taste the immense LOVE they pack into every single delicacy they make! I just picked up two dozen doughnuts for my coworkers, and told them they were the BEST doughnuts they will ever eat. Well, needless to say, they all loved every bite! I have been to other bakeries, but there is always something "off" with one or more of the things they make. Whether it's the oil they use or the fake-tasting fillings or the flavors of frosting, there's always something that could be improved. Hill Top is different. I have never had one single thing from Hill Top that I didn't like. Everything I've ever eaten from there has been nothing short of delicious. They really know what they're doing. Good, family-owned bakeries are few and far between nowadays, but Hill Top is the shining star in Wisconsin. Go pick up a triple chocolate doughnut to see what I mean. You just can't get any better. By the way, the photos are the doughnuts I picked up this morning for my coworkers. One box of regular and one box of gourmet. $30 for all 24 doughnuts and worth every single penny.

An independent family-run bakery that's been in the same family for the last 48 years, but goes back to the 1920s! When I was young there were bakeries sprinkled liberally across every small town in the Fox River Valley of Wisconsin. This is one that remains; it's the only business in this neighborhood of houses. Too often in the big cities a business has just one focus: the donut shop, the bundt cake place, cupcakes only, bread only. Hilltop has everything sweet you can imagine packed into their modest space. Muffins, cakes, pies, donuts, bars, cookies, bread, buns....what did I miss?....they have it. All fresh, & many things not kept around for more than a day without being placed on the mark down rack. I'm not going to list my favorites because there's not a thing in this place I wouldn't devour. Take a look at the pics-what DOESN'T look good to you? LOL.
The best donuts ever made.... The cookies are my 2nd favorite.... try the peanut butter chocolate chip... Amazing service too!
